2012 belonged to Kendrick Lamar, and Black Hippy fans hope Schoolboy Q will see similar success in 2013. Although he released his ‘Habits & Contradictions’ album last year, Q’s upcoming ‘Oxymoron’ will serve as the west coast native’s official studio debut.
In a recent interview with MTV, Schoolboy confirmed that he is working on getting all the singles lined up for the project, and that we will see the project hit the scene in the coming months.
“It’ll probably be out in a few months,” Q explained. “We gon’ get these singles right, get ‘em together and place everything in order. Then we gon’ get it crackin’ from there. I haven’t leaked a record yet, so I don’t wanna say too much yet until I leak the record. But Oxymoron is definitely coming this year and we gon’ have some fun.”
Schoolboy Q also recently confirmed that we could expect collaborations from Pharrel, Danny Brown, A$AP Rocky, and fellow TDE member Kendrick Lamar on the album.
