Queen Latifah will be returning to the daytime talk circuit after Sony Pictures Television announced that they’ve managed to fill-out ‘The Queen Latifah Show’s senior staff. The show is expected to be ready for the air on September 16th.
The show will be run by executive producer Corin Nelson and Todd Yasui, according to Deadline.com. Yasui was previously the SVP of Late Night for Fox and executive producer of ‘The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn,’ Nelson won five Emmy Awards for his work on the ‘The Rosie O’Donnell Show.’
Jack Mori, Catherine McKenzie, David Harte and Sierra Lindsey will all serve as supervising producers and bring with them a huge amount of experience. Lindsey served as producer of President Obama’s campaign, Harte worked on ‘Lopez Tonight,’ McKenzie put in three years with ‘Good Morning America’ and Mori was a senior producer with ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show.’
Sony Pictures was keen to point out the experience of the production crew saying, “These producers bring tremendous experience, diversity of background and some of the most creative minds in this business to our show.”
