Just hours after Lil Wayne tweeted about Pitbull’s diss track, the Miami native took to Twitter to clear the air on the back and forth beef between the two rappers.
Lil Wayne caused quite a bit of controversy when he decided to not only diss the Miami Heat during NBA All-Star weekend, but the entire city of Miami.
Of course many people were offended, and Pitbull decided to be the first mainstream rapper to release a diss track aimed at Weezy called ‘Welcome 2 Dade County.’ Wayne took to Twitter after hearing the track to say ” Dam pit bull bro I thought u was kool.”
Now Pitbull has taken to his Twitter account to express his feelings on the entire thing, explaining that he has nothing but love for Wayne’s hometown.
” @LilTunechi I am cool papo but imagine me shitting on anything new orleans which I was just there for super bowl the big easy I loved it,” he continued, “@LilTunechi the world shows me love and vice versa but miami is all I got no disrespect just the truth.”
