Young Money head honcho Lil Wayne takes some time to respond to the diss track put out by Pitbull over the weekend.
In a move that shocked nearly everyone in the hip hop and rap community, Miami rapper Pitbull defended his city on a diss track aimed at Lil Wayne.
The ‘Welcome 2 Dade County’ track sees Pitbull rapping over Bauer’s breakthrough smash single ‘Harlem Shake,’ and was released in response to Weezy saying “Fuck Miami” over the NBA All-Star weekend, a move that caused plenty of controversy.
Although Wayne hasn’t taken the time to return fire at Pitbull, he did tweet earlier today in response to the song writing, “Dam pit bull bro I thought u was kool.”
Wayne did recently apologize for his comments about Miami, claiming that he’s huge a sports fan, and the “disrespect” he felt he received from the NBA became misconstrued in his words.
