It might take more than an apology on radio to convince Luther ‘Uncle Luke’ Campbell that Lil Wayne sincerely means no ill-will to Miami. The 2 Live Crew rapper hit Twitter before Weezy called into Miami’s 99 Jamz and predicted the YMCMB star’s strategy, although now Luke is waiting to see the reaction to Wayne’s comments before offering his own opinion.
Last night, Luke hit Twitter where he predicted that Wayne would contact a Miami station to detail his rant. “Don’t be surprised this cat gets on local radio with a fake ass apology the same station that supports them and no local artist,” Luke tweeted.
Today, Luke dropped into to Twitter to scope out the reaction to Weezy’s explanation. “Good Morning Miami an the World did you here the interview last night tell me what you think,” said Luke.
The rapper also hinted that he wasn’t too impressed by what Wayne had to say, but kept his opinion to himself for the time being. “I’m asking people how they feel about the interview before I say something because I knew how I felt about it,” said Luke.
