Another one of hip hop’s legends has passed away this week as New York rapper Tim Dog died at the age of 46.
On February 14th, 2013 Bronx bred emcee Tim Dog passed away from a seizure that was brought on by his longstanding diabetes. The rapper was only 46 years of age when The Source reported that he had met his untimely death.
Tim Dog is rose to prominence on the New York hip hop scene back in the early ’90s with his most notable contribution being his debut album ‘Penicillin on Wax.’ The rapper caused a lot of controversy on the album’s track ‘Fuck Compton,’ where he raged war on the entire west coast on a single track.
The Twitterverse sent their condolences to the late Tim Dog, including rap veteran’s Vinnie Paz and El-P among others.
