Frequent G.O.O.D. Music collaborator Hit-Boy confirms that there will be no ‘Cruel Winter’ album releasing.
Almost immediately after Kanye West and his G.O.O.D. Music team dropped their compilation project ‘Cruel Summer,’ rumors began flying that the group was going to assemble once again to drop a follow up album dubbed ‘Cruel Winter.’
Now that months have gone by, it looks like those rumors might be just that. Earlier this week G.O.O.D. Music emcee Common stated that he believed it was nothing more than rumors as well.
“Oh, yeah, nah, nah. I don’t think that’s happening. It was more of a rumor — cats been creating, but everybody’s been doing their solo album. So that’s what that is,” Common stated.
Now Hit-Boy, most commonly known for producing the Kanye West and Jay-Z smash single ‘Niggas In Paris,’ also chimes in with his thoughts, telling the team at Power 106 that he also believes it’s a rumor.
“From what I know, it’s not real…tll I get that word from Kanye himself, and he’s like ‘we doin this’, then it’s not real,” Hit-Boy stated.
