Producer turned rapper Hit-Boy has officially signed a record deal with the team at Interscope Records, and he’s bringing his own record label with him.
Hit-Boy has garnered a ton of attention on the music scene over the past few years, producing for nearly every big name in the business, and has even been co-signed by Kanye West who deemed Hit-Boy “the next him.”
Life has been good for the young up and comer, and it looks like he will be putting out his music under Interscope Records, thanks to a new deal he just signed.
Not only will Hit-Boy be putting out his music under Interscope, but he also secured a deal for his label imprint ‘Hits Since ’87.’ The rapper confirmed the news on Twitter earlier today. ” Hits Since 87, inc + Interscope. Young Label owner. #Godisgreat.”
Hit-Boy put out his free ‘HITstory’ album in 2012, and recently teamed up with 2 Chainz to debut the Fan remix.
