It looks like Beyonce might be teaming up with both Azealia Banks and Lady Gaga for a new song called ‘Ratchet.’
The term ‘Ratchet’ has gained mass popularity over the past year, which is why the rumors of Beyonce dropping a song titled ‘Ratchet’ isn’t all that surprising.
After the news broke that Beyonce would be performing at President Barack Obama’s inauguration ceremony on January 21st, the rumors begin flying through the Twittersphere that Beyonce would be teaming up with Lady Gaga and Azealia Banks for this new track.
The track would serve as the follow up to Beyonce and Lady Gaga’s massive collaboration single ‘Telephone,’ and the name of the song comes from the fact that both artist’s have been spotted wearing door knocker earrings with the popular term on as seen Billboard.
So where do the Azealia Banks rumors come from? Well Banks recently told Brazil’s Mix TV all the way back in September that she had collaborated with Gaga on a track called ‘Ratchet.’
“I worked with Lady Gaga, but I worked with Lady Gaga from afar. We worked via email and via Internet. We have a song called ‘Red Flame’ and a song called ‘Ratchet,’ but I don’t know what she’s doing with it. She’s going to release it when she wants to release it.”
