Forbes has once again released their popular ’30 Under 30′ list, and many rappers made the list including Wiz Khalifa, Frank Ocean, Drake, and several others.
It’s hard to believe that 2012 is soon to be just a thing of the past. The year absolutely flew by, but there’s some good that comes with that as well. At the end of every year, media publications start putting out their “end of year lists” highlighting many of the achievements in particular industries over the past 12 months.
Forbes is famous for a ton of their end of year lists, and today the brand put out their ’30 Under 30′ list which covers what the brand describes as “young disruptors, innovators and entrepreneurs.”
There were several hip hop artists on the list but Wiz Khalifa was the featured music artist pulling in a whopping $20 million over the past two years, and landing himself on the Forbes’ Hip Hop Cash Kings list twice in a row as well.
Other artists worth mention include the likes of Frank Ocean, Kendrick Lamar, Mac Miller, and Young Money affiliate Drake.
