The sales projections are in for The Game’s newly released ‘Jesus Piece’ album, and it looks like the Compton native’s numbers have slipped from last year’s release.
It’s no secret that album sales have been steadily declining over the years, and that only the biggest entertainers in the business can still push massive units. With that being said, it’s tough to judge if rapper’s popularity is wearing off, or if economic slumps are responsible for particular artist’s sales.
The Game’s album sales have been slowly dwindling over the years, and his fifth studio release ‘Jesus Piece‘ will be selling even less. The album is projected to sell in the ball park of 75,000 to 80,000 copies in its first week.
To put things in perspective, The Game’s 2011 release ‘The R.E.D. Album’ managed to sell around 98,000 in the first week. Regardless of album sales, the project has received solid reviews across the board thus far.
