Outkast member Big Boi’s newly released ‘Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors‘ will be opening up to some rather disappointing album sales numbers.
Unfortunately for hip hop legend Big Boi, quality content does not guarantee commercial success when it comes to album sales.
Big Boi’s newly released ‘Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors’ album has already become a serious contender for album of the year, and the project has received nothing but rave reviews across the board, but that didn’t seem to help the album sales projections all that much.
The ATLien’s solo project is projected to sell around 25,000 to 30,000 copies in its first week. Although these numbers could definitely change, they are always right on the money when the final numbers are tallied up, so don’t expect much change if any.
So what’s next for Big Boi? The Atlanta rapper recently stated that he would be willing to hit the studio with Andre 3000 to record a new Outkast album, but he’s just waiting on Three Stacks.
