As predicted, Alicia Keys finds herself atop the Bilboard album sales charts with the release of her ‘Girl On Fire’ album.
It looks like Alicia Keys can add another number 1 album to her long list of achievements as her recently released ‘Girl On Fire’ tops the album sales charts.
The album was projected to sell anywhere between 150,000 to 175,000 copies, and landed right in between that selling a total 161,000 copies in the first week.
Although it was enough to earn her a number 1 spot on the sales charts, the total numbers are a far cry from her last project ‘The Element of Freedom,’ which managed to nearly go gold in its first week. That project sold a monstrous 417,000 copies in its first week when it was released just a few years back in 2009.
