Joe Budden says he’s recorded several more tracks with Ab-Soul, and debunks rumors of a potential Slaughterhouse/Black Hippy collaboration album.
New Jersey emcee Joe Budden has definitely been garnering the attention of the hip hop community as of late with his recently released ‘A Loose Quarter’ mixtape, and now he’s prepping the release of a new solo album dubbed ‘No Love Lost.’
Before Slaughterhouse dropped their ‘welcome to: Our House’ album, many fans speculated that the super group would be teaming up with Black Hippy for a collaboration project, but Joe Budden says it’s not going to happen. Although a Slaughterhouse/Black Hippy album may not be happening, Budden did reveal that he has more tracks with Ab-Soul in the vault.
“Ab-Soul what up – yeah, we’ve got a couple of more joints that we did. I ain’t put ‘em on the tape, but they’ll be seeing the light of day soon,” he said. Budden was then questioned about the potential collaboration album. “Is too much, that’s too much. That’s too many people for me to…I don’t know. If it happens, great – naturally, I’d be all for it. I’m down to rap with any rapper that wants to rap.”
