Memphis rapper Yo Gotti decided to release a track addressing the recent Gucci Mane diss called ‘Have Mercy (Gucci Know Not What He Do).’
It looks like Yo Gotti decided to address the situation with Gucci Mane after all dropping a new track today explaining his stance.
After recently releasing his ‘Trap God’ mixtape, Gucci Mane began calling out a slew of rappers including Young Jeezy, French Montana, and even Yo Gotti out of nowhere. While promoting his newly released CM7 mixtape, Yo Gotti expressed his disappointment in the Gucci Mane diss track, explaining that he was just as surprised as fans were.
“I’m more disappointed than anything,” said Gotti. “You mentioned a diss record, I heard about the record last night. I ain’t heard it yet, but I heard about the record last night…Nobody understand why he doing it. To me, at the end of the day I’m more disappointed in him than anything because I looked at him different. What I perceived of him is not what he playing now…I thought you was a straight up, standup guy. Street type dude and street dudes don’t handle business like that.”
