St. Louis rap star Nelly finds himself in a bit of a predicament as the rapper was arrested after his tour bus seizure resulted in drugs and a loaded pistol during this Texas bust.
As Nelly gets ready to begin his press rounds to promote his upcoming ‘M.O.’ album, the St. Lunatic ring leader finds himself getting some bad publicity over a drug bust.
TMZ reports that Nelly’s tour bus was pulled over, and during the inspection police found a loaded gun along with drugs, lots of them. Police found 36 small bags of heroin that amounted to .64 ounces, and a whopping 10 pounds of marijuana packed into a large green duffle bag. As if this wasn’t bad enough, there was also a loaded .45 pistol found as well.
Nelly was travelling with 7 people during this checkpoint in Sierra Blanca, Texas, and thankfully for the rapper one of the passengers named Brian Keith Jones admitted that all of the drugs and the gun were his. Nelly was later released, and no charges were pressed against the St. Louis emcee at this time.
