Lil Wayne has officially introduced his new line of Beats by Dr. Dre headphones this past weekend.
Young Money Cash Money head honcho Lil Wayne continues to expand upon his business empire as he makes the plunge into celebrity endorsed headphones. Lil Wayne has decided to leverage the name and branding of Dr. Dre’s immensely successful Beats By Dre line for a pair of signature Beats Pro headphones that are sure to sell like hot cakes.
The headphones were unveiled at Playhouse nightclub in Los Angeles after last week’s 2012 MTV Video Music Awards, where Lil Wayne performed alongside 2 Chainz.
The star studded event included plenty of Lil Wayne’s friends. Among the attendees were Wiz Khalifa, DJ Drama, Machine Gun Kelly, French Montana, and of course both Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine.
Lil Wayne’s headphones will be sporting an all red casing, and can be seen in the official unveiling after the jump, where Lil Wayne also performs at the nightclub.
