Action Bronson has become the latest addition to the roster of VICE Records and Warner Bros. Records and announced that he had inked a deal with the majors over Twitter. The specifics of the deal remain unclear but Bronson later posted that it will see him link his own label to VICE/Warner.
Action Bronson thanked his fans for their support and promised they would have something to look forward to in the future. “Vice/Warner Bros.is the label. I promise to never make candy cane bullshit music as long as I live,” wrote Bronson.
Action initially joked that he’d managed the deal through Left Brain and Odd Future but later clarified that he’d be using the major labels to back his own imprint. “Ok we joked wit you Its not through OF it’s strictly Warner bros/Vice. My own imprint. I’m a leader no coat rider. OF is fam forever iDGAF,” wrote Bronson.
Bronson indicated that the deal will hopefully be the beginning of a long career. “I just want to say thank u to everyone for all the love and support. I’m gonna make it count. Im able to feed my kids thank god,” wrote Bronson.
