After a slew of delays, G-Unit member Lloyd Banks announces the official release date for his upcoming ‘V6: The Gift’ mixtape.
Just after 50 Cent released his 5 (Murder By Numbers) mixtape, fellow G-Unit rapper Lloyd Banks is gearing up to release his much anticipated ‘V6: The Gift’ mixtape.
The project has been delayed quite a few times, and was originally set to release towards the end of April, but obviously that never came to fruition.
Banks took to his Twitter account towards the end of April expressing, “”Still a few things I have to do with the tape,it’s not droppin monday..but soon after!” he wrote. “I just want it to be delivered the right way. Trust me, it’s worth the wait! You won’t be disappointed.”
Well it looks like the New York based emcee has all of his affairs in order, as we finally get an official release date for the project. Lloyd Banks will release his ‘V6: The Gift’ mixtape next week on July 24th, 2012.
